Now Khloe Kardashian has shed some more light on the gossip – she insists Kim is not romantically involved with West, but they almost become a couple at one point.

During an appearance on DJ Sway’s Shade 45 radio show last week (ends09Mar12), she said, “They were talking and trying to go on a date here and there, but it just didn’t work out.”

And Khloe isn’t ruling out a romance in their future – because she is convinced they would be well suited.

She added, “I know they hung out, but I know it’s never gotten to there (turned romantic)… I genuinely think that because we have so much in common – like our families, losing parents and we do have a lot of connections – I think that if they were to go there, it would be a long relationship.”

Twice-wed Kim is currently in the midst of a divorce after splitting from basketball player Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage.

Miley Cyrus Debuts Belly-Baring Dress

Miley Cyrus Debuts Belly-Baring Dress, Miley Cyrus's Belly-Baring Outfit, The singer pairs a two-piece ensemble with sky-high heels at the "Hunger Games" premiere. Miley Cyrus came out to support her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, at the 'Hunger Games' world premiere in Los Angeles. The singer arrived in a two-piece red carpet outfit. Recent belly-baring dresses from Rooney Mara and Gwyneth Paltrow prompted comments like "I dream of Jeannie," so no surprise critics are already weighing in on Miley's unconventional choice.

E! Online labeled the Pucci dress "skimpy" and she was called out on Twitter for wearing a glittery bustier and "gypsy skirt," while others are already praising her unconventional choice and saying she "makes it work."

Miley added an unusual touch when it came to jewelry, as well, and wore a bracelet chained to a ring. She completed the look with a very specific shoe choice. "His mom made me wear stilts," Miley explained, saying her boyfriend Liam's mom steered her towards sky-high Christian Louboutin heels. "I'm like five feet, so I need my 'Liam shoes.'"

The couple, who have a foot of height difference between them, walked the black carpet together and appeared closer than ever. Miley even offered up some advice for Liam after spending years in the spotlight, saying she emphasizes staying close to the people who love you for who you truly are.

Miley went on to say the two try to keep the fame out of their relationship, and explained that this will be the first time she sees Liam onscreen as Gale Hawthorne. The 19-year-old added that she was happy to be there to support him for this particular movie, since she knows her boyfriend is very excited about the part. And for the premiere, Miley had a much simpler role in mind: "I just have to be arm candy tonight."

Six-Year-Old Canucks Fan Does LMFAO Right

Six-Year-Old Canucks Fan Does LMFAO Right, 6-year-old's funky dance moves go viral, Jack Millos dazzles at a pro hockey game while grooving to LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It." When you think of LMFAO, you think of DJs, rappers, club-goers, and party rockers. But you really should be thinking of 6-year-old Canucks fans.

One in particular: Jack Millos.

The adorable Vancouver supporter stole the spotlight a few nights ago by busting some rather impressive moves to LMFAO's "Sexy And I Know It."

Watch his intense concentration, coupled with rhythm that rivals anything from this year's Super Bowl halftime show ...

Jack's older sister is responsible for teaching him how to dance, though she says the talent comes pretty naturally. As for the song choice, Millos' parents aren't too worried that the lyrics, "Look at that body" are going to corrupt their son. After all, his school allowed him to dance to the same tune in the talent show.

Perhaps LMFAO will invite Millos to dance in a new music video for the G-rated version of the song, "I'm Elmo and I Know It."

No matter what the song, one thing is for certain. No one is challenging Millos to a game of Dance Dance Revolution anytime soon.

Mysterious 'explosion' caught on live TV

Mysterious 'explosion' caught on live TV, Unexplained explosion caught live on Phoenix news broadcast, A traffic report takes an unexpected turn and has a station asking public for help. Phoenix's FOX 10 reporter Andrea Robinson was in the middle of an on-air report when an unexplained, bright white explosion appeared in the distance behind her.

The strange blast was caught on tape and aired live during Robinson's report. At first, news station employees thought the explosion was a transformer. But when FOX 10 checked with local utility providers APS and Salt River Project, they were told no transformers had blown in the area.

While the source of the explosion remains a mystery, it comes just before the 15th anniversary of one of the most-famous UFO sightings in recent history. On March 13, 1997, a cluster of glowing orbs moving in a V-shaped formation was spotted in the skies above Phoenix. That incident was also caught on film. The origin of the light formation has since been endlessly analyzed and debated.

Arizona is also home to Travis Walton, who famously claimed to have been abducted by a UFO in 1975. Walton has written a number of books on the subject, and his story was turned into the 1993 film "Fire in the Sky."

And while Phoenix officials remain stumped by the strange light explosion, FOX 10 has reached out to the public asking for assistance in explaining exactly what was caught on film.

Why Ashley Olsen quit acting

Why Ashley Olsen quit acting, Ashley Olsen: I'll Never Act Again, The star, who grew up on the show "Full House," began to question her career after turning 18. Ashley Olsen, and her twin sister Mary-Kate, has a successful fashion empire. And for the time being, high fashion is where she wants to remain. "We worked non-stop until we were 18. Then we decided to take a break and go to school -- and that was when we decided to question whether we would carry on in entertainment," the 25-year-old says in an interview with April's ELLE U.K.

"It was time to step behind the process. I wanted to work on other things. It doesn't mean I'm not interested in Hollywood, I like the way it operates and the people who are involved and the sense of possibility. But if I ever do get back in, it's not going to be as an actress."

Both Ashley and Mary-Kate rose to fame at just nine months old on the hit TV show Full House. The twins continued their acting career straight up until their 2004 film New York Minute.

"It just felt right to move away," Ashley added.

Meanwhile, the sisters' younger sibling, Elizabeth Olsen, 23, is on track to be one of 2012's breakout actresses. After starring as the lead role in Martha Marcy May Marlene, her second movie, Silent House, just hit theaters.

Sun unleashes massive solar eruptions

Sun unleashes massive solar eruptions, Sun Fires Off 2 Huge Solar Flares in One-Two Punch, The sun fires off huge flares that may affect power grids and satellite communications. The sun unleashed a cosmic double whammy Tuesday (March 6), erupting with two major flares to cap a busy day of powerful solar storms. One of the flares is the most powerful solar eruption of the year, so far.

Both of the huge flares ranked as X-class storms, the strongest type of solar flares the sun can have. They followed several weaker, but still powerful, sun storms on Tuesday and came just days after another major solar flare on Sunday night.

The first big solar storm was also the most powerful one, ranking as an X5.4-class flare after erupting at 7:02 p.m. EST (0002 March 7 GMT), according to an alert from the Space Weather Prediction Center operated by the National Weather Service. It is the strongest solar flare yet for 2012.

The second event occurred just over an hour later, reaching a maximum strength of X1.3.

Several space-based observatories witnessed the solar flares, including NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory and the agency's Stereo-B spacecraft. The sun-watching observatories spotted huge clouds of charged particles — called coronal mass ejections, or CMEs — erupting from the solar flares.

"First-look data from Stereo-B are not sufficient to determine if the cloud is heading for Earth," astronomer Tony Phillips wrote on his website Spaceweather.com, which monitors space weather events. "Our best guess is 'probably, yes, but not directly toward Earth.' A glancing blow to our planet's magnetosphere is possible on March 8th or 9th."

According to Phillips, the big X5.4 solar flare erupted from the giant active sunspot AR1429, which was also responsible for the major sun storm on Sunday.

When aimed directly at Earth, X-class solar flares can endanger astronauts and satellites in orbit, interfere with satellite communications and damage power grids on Earth. They can also amplify the Earth's display of northern and southern lights, also known as auroras. Charged particles from the solar storms can interact with Earth's upper atmosphere, resulting in a glow that is typically visible to observers at high northern or southern latitudes.

Astronomers rank solar flares by strength using five categories: A, B, C, M and X. The A-class flares are the weakest sun storms, while the X-class events are the most powerful solar flares.

This ranking system was designed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and resembles the Richter scale used for earthquakes in that each category is 10 times stronger than the one before it, NASA officials have said. So a B-class solar flare is 10 times stronger than an A-class event, while a C-class solar storm releases 10 times more energy than B-class flare (or 100 times more energy than an A-class event).

The categories are also broken down into subsets, from 1 to 9, to pinpoint a solar flare's strength. Only X-class solar flares have subcategories that go higher than 9. The most powerful solar flare on record occurred in 2003 and was estimated to be an X28 on the solar flare scale, NASA officials said.

Tuesday's X-class solar flares followed a string of other eruptions that included M-class and C-class events, space weather officials said. Both of the day's X-class sun storms were stronger than the X1.1 solar flare of March 5.

Prior to this week, the only huge solar flare of 2012 occurred on Jan. 27, when the sun unleashed an X1.7-class eruption.

The sun is currently going through an active phase of its 11-year weather cycle. The current cycle is known as Solar Cycle 24 and is expected to reach its peak level of activity in 2013, NASA officials have said.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's favorite body part

Jennifer Love Hewitt's favorite body part, Find Out What Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Favorite Body Part Is, The actress reveals the one aspect of her physique she appreciates more than others. Jennifer Love Hewitt strips down to her underwear for the cover of Maxim's April issue looking super sexy as she reveals to the mag what her favorite body part is. (Actually, make that parts!) Plus, Sarah Jessica Parker dons a daring see-through ensemble at Paris Fashion Week, and Miranda Kerr rocks a painful accessory on the catwalk of the Chanel show.

Simpson's provocative pregnancy pose, Pregnant Jessica Simpson Gets Nude for Elle, Reveals Baby’s Sex, Jessica Simpson mirrors Demi Moore by appearing in a bold manner on a magazine cover. Following in the footsteps of Claudia Schiffer, Mariah Carey, and the woman who started it all, Demi Moore, a heavily pregnant Jessica Simpson has thrown modesty out the window as she bares all -- save for a few select parts covered by her hands -- on the cover of a magazine. (Scroll down to see the entire cover. Discretion advised.) But the 31-year-old doesn't just reveal her new, bigger body in Elle's April issue , she also reveals some pretty big news: The singer-turned-actress-turned-fashion designer is having a girl! And she's hoping for a girly girl at that.

"Ah swear, ah will croak if she asks me for a pair of Nikes instead of Christian Louboutins!" Simpson, who will serve as a "mentor" on the upcoming reality competition show "Fashion Star," tells the magazine in her signature Texas drawl. "If she ends up bein' this volleyball-playing, basketball-playing woman I'm looking up at! Eric is so athletic. We're gonna have this ath-a-letic girl and I won't even be able to take her shopping, 'cause all she's gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!"

The Eric she's referring to is Simpson's fiancé, pro football player Eric Johnson … and the reason their future daughter could be one very large baby. (Her physician is predicting 10 pounds, the same size Johnson was at birth.) "Me, I was only six pounds," she says. "So maybe Eric and I can meet in the middle."

The couple apparently didn't had any trouble meeting in the middle when it came to choosing a name for their baby girl. And the future mom insists they won't be changing their minds. "We're sure. We're embroidering it on things," Simpson insists of the name she describes as "nontraditional." "It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary Still, when people hear it, they'll know…why."

And with the new baby will surely come more media attention, something Simpson is quite familiar with — explaining her elaborate tactics for shaking off the paparazzi, which involve renting multiple cars and switching them out in various parking garages. But it's not just the media's photographers who have caused trouble for a woman who started her music career as a teenager but rose to even more fame after her infamous reality show "The Newlyweds" debuted in 2003.

The MTV series followed the star and then new-husband, former boy band member Nick Lachey (who, coincidentally just announced he and second wife Vanessa Minnillo are expecting, too), and often portrayed Simpson as less-than-the-brightest bulb. Case in point: When Simpson wondered aloud if Chicken of the Sea tuna was made from actual chicken.

"The thing is, I was just a lot more naive in my life back then," she explains. "I was experiencing a lot of things for the first time, like media and marriage and just…comin' in to my own as a woman. I was this southern, Texas girl who didn't know much comin' into this world," she explains.

One thing's for sure: Jessica Simpson is happy to be Jessica Simpson. "I know who I am, and you kinda' can't mess with that. I'm a go-with-it girl. I have a blast makin' fun of myself and falling on my face and then getting up again," she shares. "It's so much better than being the cool, deep, tortured artist."

Baby who saved father from Japan tsunami

Baby who saved father from Japan tsunami, Party for baby whose birth saved father from Japan tsunami, A twist of fate helped a man escape unscathed as his workplace was swept away by the waves. Searching through piles of bodies after Japan's March 11 tsunami, Kenji Sato was struck by the thought -- he could easily have been one of them, had it not been for his son born earlier that day.

In a fortunate twist of fate, Sato, a wiry descendant of fishermen in his coastal hometown of Minamisanriku, took time off from work to see his third child, Haruse, born at a hospital in a nearby port city.

Hours later, the only thing left of the nursing home where he would usually have been was a skeleton of steel pillars.

Nearly all 70 residents were swept away by the tsunami set off by the 9.0 magnitude offshore earthquake that devastated Minamisanriku, one of the worst-hit towns. Sato and his work mates set about the task of searching for them.

"I just confirmed that my wife and son were safe. Then, I spent days on end identifying bodies, looking for evacuation centers for the elderly," said Sato, 31, surrounded by his four-generation family at their home.

A year on, the Satos, who all survived since their house was built on a hill, are planning a quiet birthday with some cake and ice cream for the child who, his grandmother Kazuko insists, "was born to save us."

Because of Haruse's birth, Kazuko also took the day off from her job at the Minamisanriku town hospital. A boat still perches atop the 5-storey building, a chilling reminder of the height of the walls of water that ripped through the town.

Wave after wave razed the heart of Minamisanriku, killing around 1,300 of its 17,000 residents. Many survivors still live in more than 40 barrack-style temporary housing settlements dotted on the hills around what was once a lively fishing town.

"I saw my child for the second time only when we all reunited in early April," said Sato, caressing his oldest son in his lap. "I wish all that happened in between was just a bad dream."

Haruse was born around 4 a.m., a month prematurely, weighing 2.6 kg (5 lb, 11 ounces) and requiring intensive care due to low body temperature. But while the hospital in the nearby city of Ishinomaki was spared the brunt of the disaster, patients from across the region poured in, straining facilities.

"That's why I was told to leave him and had to check out three days after his birth," said Hiromi, 34, Sato's wife. Most Japanese women stay in hospital for a week after giving birth.

Weeks filled with anxiety ensued amid post-earthquake chaos, with checking on relatives amid aftershocks, scrambling for food and trying to get by without running water and electricity in the cold early spring weather.
"I was scared he wouldn't be able to leave the hospital, but when they said I can pick him up I was just very happy we could be together again," said Harumi, changing Haruse's Mickey Mouse nappies as he beat his arms and legs against the floor.

HAPPY CENTRE OF ATTENTION

After his birth, Haruse -- whose name means "Bright Spring" -- was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, a genetic condition associated with some impairment of cognitive ability.

"I didn't know anything about it and was worried I won't be able to raise him properly, but we decided to bring him up just like our other two sons," said Hiromi. "The only difference is that we take him to a specialist doctor from time to time."

As she spoke, Haruse's older brothers, Anji and Oto, aged four and five, ran around the house screaming, fighting and stopping only for a bite of sakura mochi, a Japanese rice cake typically served in early spring.

"Sometimes I even think there are too many people trying to look after him," laughed Hiromi as Haruse's grandmother showered him with kisses and tickled him, making him squeal and laugh.

But raising three sons in a town resembling an eerie graveyard with only house foundations visible under a thick layer of snow will not be easy for even the most devoted family.

Minamisanriku's biggest employer, the fishing industry, is only starting to get back on its feet and rubble still litters the streets. Even before the disaster, young people had been migrating to larger cities anyway, to search for work.

Sato says that when not fighting with his brother, his older son is preparing to enter elementary school from April, while the four-year-old attends a nursery school in a pre-fabricated building near their house.

"When I drink with my friends, we laugh bitterly that our generation will spend the rest of our lives rebuilding the town," said Sato, now working at a different nursing home.

"It makes sense, because we want to do it for our children. Otherwise, they will have to abandon the place our family has lived in for generations.

"That just doesn't make sense."
